Who is Matthew AJ Levine?
Toronto Native. Business Lawyer. Family Guy
Matthew was born at Mt Sinai and raised in Kensington Market. As a kid, he loved watching baseball with his dad - go Blue Jays! - and trading baseball cards with his little friends. Spent too much time at university. (Matthew has four (4!) university degrees!)
Matthew completed a Juris Doctor at the University British Columbia. Then, he summered, articled and practiced with Canada's largest law firm, Borden Ladner Gervais LLP ("BLG"). He then worked for several years in East Asia as in-house counsel.
Matthew now runs his own awesome law firm in Yorkville, Toronto. The law firm's culture is 'off Bay Street' but the physical address is on Bay. Together with his lovely wife ("Ms L"), Matthew has a young son. Matthew is a proud dad.

BUSINESS LAW
What does business law mean to you?
The truth is that business law means different things to different people. Over the years, my business law practice has covered various specialized areas of law.
Three focus areas of particular importance have been: corporate/commercial law, information privacy law, and global supply chains. What unites these three areas of business law practice?
My experience is that each of these three areas is, in many cases, deeply relevant to today's businesses.
